The Home How publishes practical, measured guides for setting up the place you live and work. We start with the home office: desk height, chair height, monitor position, glare, cables and small-space layouts.
How we make our guides
- Official sources first. Numbers and recommendations come from published guidance such as OSHA, the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS), and university ergonomics programs. Every guide lists its sources and the date we checked them.
- Diagrams and calculators we build ourselves. Layout diagrams and calculators are made for each article. They are simplified illustrations, not photos.
- AI-assisted, human-checked. We use AI tools to help research and draft. A human editor checks the facts, numbers and links before anything is published.
- No fake testing. We don’t claim to have used or tested a product unless we say exactly how.
What we don’t do
Our guides are general information about arranging a space. They are not medical, legal or tax advice.
